THE PROJECT

“INTRA ORAL TRAY” 3D IOT

Since 1970…

The outcome of 50 years of research…

WHAT DOES IOT REFER TO?

IOT is a dental optical image-processing system designed to replace traditional impression taking.

Described as early as 1970, patented in 1980 in its very first version, the current 2010 technology is the result of a long-term experience associated with the brands Hennson/Sopha, GC and Condor. The INVIS’ART 3D Optical Impression Tray (or INVIS’ART’s Intra Oral Tray ” IOT ” 3D) is the final stage of 50 years of ongoing research carried out by different high-level teams.

The IOT 3D allows to create optical impressions both in mouth (dental office) and on models (prosthesis laboratory).

Highlights

The benefits of IOT

SPEED OF EXECUTION

Speedier performance of in-mouth impressions and error-prone operations.

PATIENT COMFORT

Eliminates nausea reflexes with no patient impression material.

FUN FOR CHILDREN

Attractiveness of innovations in dentofacial orthopaedics for children.

EASY AND HYGIENIC

Easy and clean laboratory processes for a quick scan of plaster models.

ENHANCED REPRODUCIBILITY

Easy and unlimited reproduction of the impression.

COST SAVING

Reduced purchase costs for increasingly expensive impression materials.

MESSAGE from the inventor

“IOT is a revolution in 21st century’s dentistry.”

Invis’art will ensure that IOT remains one of the most important milestones in the ongoing revolution that leads the new digital dentistry. It shall be deemed as the permanent and ultimate expression of the most common and widely used technology in conventional dentistry.

Furthermore, thanks to this technology, all our research and most of our past gestures, perfected over the centuries, are finally digitized without any need for extra training or gestures in all traditional and modern fields, including diagnosis, CAD/CAM and Artificial Intelligence.
